The tracht that we wear can be broken down into two groups,
folklore and traditional. When ladies wear dirndls and the men do not
have on their vests, this is considered folklore or everyday type of
clothing.
When the ladies are wearing hard mieder vests with chains and a
trachten skirt and the men are wearing their vest, this is considered
traditional or formal tracht. Ladies should never wear hats with dirndls
and both men and women should wear them when in traditional tracht
The traditional tracht that we wear is styled after the tracht of Meisbach
Bavaria.
